Cardiff Council have granted planning permission to build a 350,000 tonne waste incinerator in Splott.

The next step is for The Environment Agency to consider whether to grant a permit for Viridor to process waste on the site. They are holding a public information session in the STAR Centre, Splott on Friday 30th July from 2pm.
Without the Environment permit the Incinerator cannot be built.
While appointments are available for the more technical questions and discussions, people attending on Friday can also drop in with questions and speak to an EA advisor without an appointment.
